OCYFL and HCYFL Team Up

The KCYFA (Kentucky Counties Youth Football Alliance) is an alliance of youth football organizations with common goals, focus on player development and developing a love for the game of football.

The KCYFA does not run a league or leagues, it establishes and is responsible for the competition framework, rules, scheduling and governance to facilitate leagues coming together to compete.  Things like ages, weight limits and other aspects of competition are established by the KCYFA (common for all teams/games).  However, it is not a merger of leagues as participating leagues will continue to run and operate on their own, responsible for things such as registration, team placements, coaches, fees, etc..

We, at the OCYFL, are ecstatic to be a founding member of the KCYFA with our neighbors Henry County Youfth Football.  We are excited with what this will do for our league and for others that look to join.

One change this will bring to the league is that not all games will be at the OCYFL complex.  We expect a minimum of half the games to be at 'home' but there will be games at the Henry County field as well.   We believe this will bring a level of excitement to our teams, being able to be a true visitor and play in different surroundings.  We also look forward to showing the true sportsmanship and respect that the OCYFL demonstrates at home each week to others!

Looking forward to a great 2020 season!!
